Save the Boundary Waters Action Fund endorses Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger for Minnesota State Senate

As this critical election season approaches, Save the Boundary Waters Action Fund is excited to announce its endorsement of Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger for State Senate (District 47). As a current Minnesota State Representative, Hemmingsen-Jaeger has proven herself to be a steadfast champion of the Boundary Waters in the State legislature. 

Hemmingsen-Jaeger has been a dedicated cosponsor of the Boundary Waters Permanent Protection (H.F. 309) bill since 2023 and has voted against harmful policies that would threaten the Wilderness. Her efforts advocating for the Boundary Waters are tangible, and her leadership will continue to drive positive change in the Senate.

This special election is not only about choosing a leader who will prioritize the Boundary Waters, but it will determine the balance of power in the State legislature. Now more than ever, we need to ensure pro-Boundary Waters candidates hold that power.

Here’s how you can help ensure Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger wins on November 4th:

1. Vote: If you live in Senate District 47 (encompassing parts of Woodbury), be sure to vote on November 4, 2025.

   1. Absentee voting started on September 19 – Request an absentee ballot

   2. Pre-register by October 14 or register on election day

   3. Find your polling place – polling places will be open between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4th.

2. Spread the word: Talk to your friends, family, and colleagues about why Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger is the right choice for office. Share her priorities, and help others see what’s at stake!
